The Actors guild of Nigeria (AGN) election slated for yesterday in Benin, Edo State has been marred with violence.
According to reports, the election was disrupted just after the manifesto night was held.
It was gathered that some of the delegates turned the election into a
free for all fight while charms were used on each other.
Before now, an actor, Emeka Ike had written the Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomole not to allow the election hold in the state.
Emeka Ike and the outgoing president if AGN, Segun Arinze have been on a long legal battle over the leadership of the guild.
Emeka Rollas (present national secretary), Ibinabo Fiberesima, Steve Eboh are contesting for the guild’s presidency.
