I sat for hours watching and waiting to see who goes home with the big prize.
Keagan is the winner of the big brother Africa 2012 star game show. The presentation of the $300,000 USD prize at the grand finale was the climax of the BBA reality show, which saw housemates from different parts of africa spending 91 days in the same house.
Days before the winner of the BBA was announced there was anxiety as no one was sure would win among the last six finalists comprising-Talia (Zambia),Prezzo (Kenya),Wati (Malawi),Keagan (South Africa)Lady May (Namibia) and Kyle from Uganda.
Wati was the person evicted at the grand finale. People joked that he would have used the money to drink alcohol if he had won.
This was followed by a live music performance by newly wedded Nigerian star,Naeto C. He rocked the stage with his 10 over 10 hit. The crowd could not resist as they danced and sang along with the son of Nigeria’s former minister of aviation.
It was no surprise at the point when the name of Kyle was called for eviction. The Ugandan was not seen as a big contender for the big prize like others.
Talia followed in line of eviction after Kyle but she didn’t leave the house without a kiss from Keagan. It was gathered that the Zambian lost most of the votes that would have come to her because ‘she did it’ with Keagan. This was obvious from the comments that went viral on social networks sites, especially twitter and facebook.
Lady May was evicted after Talia. Leaving Prezzo and Keagan behind in the house. It was at this point heart started beating faster. People became more anxious to know the winner.
Earlier before the eviction, Malonza,Goldie Alex,Janette and some of the other evicted housemates from the big brother africa star game also came up on stage as IK anchor had short interview with them. When IK the anchor Malonza the status of his relationship with Junia at the moment, he said ‘friends’.IK laughed and said ‘shame’ on you.
It would recalled that the two were lovers while in the BBA 7 house. They kissed and had some of the best moments together before their eviction.
