Wenger lost confidence in me – Arshavin

On-loan Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin, has admiited that Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger, lost faith in him and that is the major reason he left for Russia, so he could stand a chance of being selected for the Euros.
“I left Arsenal in February to try and regain my level to play for Russia, and after the last few months with Zenit I believe it was a successful choice,” he said. “The offer from Zenit was good in every sense. QPR are just two points above relegation places – and Bolton Wanderers who are 18 points on the log have an outstanding game. On the other hand, Spurs poor form has seen Newcastle draw level with them on points in the chase for fourth place.
MANCHESTER UNITED v EVERTON
The Red Devils still sit atop the EPL, five points clear of noisy neighours, City, with four games left. On Sunday, they will be seeking to consolidate their march towards their 20th league title. Everton arrive at Old Trafford a week after they lost the semi-final clash in the FA Cup against their Merseyside rivals. The Toffees however a point ahead of Liverpool and will keen to finish ahead of them in the league.
WOLVES v MANCHESTER CITY
Wolves descent into the Championship is almost done and dusted, but they won’t go down without a fight. This weekend, the bottom placed side in the league welcome Manchester City who harbour faint title hopes and might just act the party spoilers.

Kelly Hansome Publicly Humiliates Journalist Over Alleged False Story

Controversial artiste, Kelechi Orji, who is well known as Kelly Hansome, yesterday posted a picture of a yet-to-be identified journalist online.
The Imo State artiste claimed the said journalist was responsible for a story peddled in May 2011 about him begging for a movie role.
He also claimed that the journalist confessed to have been paid to do the story, which some media publication feasted on.
He has gone further to use this journalist as a scapegoat threatening to list media publications that published the story last year.

9ice never Sacked me - Dehinde Fajana reveals

The relationship between Alapomeji records head honcho, 9ice and long time manager Dehinde Fajana has come to an end.

Popular entertainment tabloids had earlier reported that Dehinde was sacked by 9ice, but the manager revealed to us on Thursday, 19th April 2012, that he was not sacked although they would no longer be working together.

"For the record, 9ice did not sack me. There was no contractual agreement and if I was sacked, where is my sack letter? At least I would have signed it and I will show you", Dehinde stated.

Mr Fajana who worked with 9ice for up to ten years also revealed that the decision to part ways was by mutual consent and not as a result of bad blood.

"I've been with 9ice for over 10 years. 9ice called me and told me he wanted to try new things and that we should go our seperate ways"I didn't fight with him", Dehinde added

The Manager who didn't want to give anymore details hinted that the false reports were the works of some of his detractors.  "A friend of mine called me and told me about the story he saw in a softsell magazine and I didn't believe it. I know where it is coming from and I'm not surprised", Dehinde revealed

Dehinde's last assignment with 9ice was during the BGV concert held at Eko Hotel earlier in the year, but insisted that despite the end of the working relationship, they're still on talking terms.

"The last concert we had (BGV) was a success and as at then we were close. I still spoke with him today and we are on good terms. 9ice is learned and I respect him", Dehinde noted.

Pakistan Baby born with Six Legs has Successful Surgery to remove Extra Limbs

When I first read the news of a baby born in Pakistan with six legs, my heart went out to the child and his family. His case was one in a million – the extra limbs were that of conjoined twins who did not completely develop in the womb.
After the doctors established that the baby did not have six legs, but had got extra limbs of conjoined twins, they suggested a surgery which was carried out on Thursday 19th April, 2012 and were successful in removing the extra limbs.
The young boy from Karachi in Pakistan was born on Saturday April 14th, 2012 by caesarian section. He had a succesful eight-hour operation by a team of five doctors who fought to save the boy’s life at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) in Karachi, Pakistan yesterday. He is now said to be in stable condition and his parents are rejoicing over the successful operation.
His complex birth is the first ever in the history of Pakistan.
The head of the NICH, Jamal Raza, said the abnormal birth was the result of a genetic disease which would affect only one in a million or more babies. “It was strange that apparently an abnormal baby with six legs was as normal as other children,” he said.
Before surgeons could operate they said they had to work out which of the limbs belonged to the boy and which to his twin. A team of five doctors was assigned the task to examine the baby and carry out initial tests like blood test, MRIs and X-rays to diagnose the case.
According to media reports, father of the baby, Imran Sheikh, is an X-ray technician whose meager salary of 6,000 Pakistani rupees a month was impossible to cater for his son’s treatment at the hospital. He appealed to philanthropists and the government of Pakistan to help his baby boy. Pakistan Baitul Mal – a charity organization in Pakistan – helped the poor family for their child’s treatment. The family also collected some money from their own sources while the major help was tended by the Baitul Mal.
‘We are a poor family. I am thankful to the government and doctors for helping us successful operating my baby,’ he said.

He said they were planning on naming their son Umar Farooq.
The news of this boy’s successful surgery in faraway Pakistan is gladdening. Thankfully, this boy would be able to live a normal life with two legs. Through no fault of his or the mother’s his story could have been a different one.
A parasitic twin is sometimes referred to as an asymmetrical or unequal conjoined twin. It occurs when a twin embryo begins developing in utero, but the pair does not fully separate. One embryo continues developing at the expense of the other (the parasitic) which will rely on the body of the other for blood supply and organ function. It is incompletely developed and dependent on the other twin. The independent twin is called the autosite. In some cases the body of one twin absorbs the other during development, known as fetus in fetu. In January a boy in Peru was operated on to remove his parasitic twin from his stomach.
I say a big ‘Well Done’ to the doctors who performed the successful surgery on the young boy. And a big ‘God Bless You’ to the philanthropist organization who helped pay the boy’s medical bills.

Mo’hits Split Latest: Lawyer Calls For Amicable Separation ***Why Wande Coal Did Not Release A Song For Over 2 Years

With last week’s exclusive revelation of private correspondences between bickering founders of Mo’hits; D’banj and Don Jazzy, the end obviously has come for the enviable odyssey and partnership of the beloved collaborators.
However, the label’s lawyer has called for caution from both parties. In yet another correspondence exclusively obtained by yemojanews.com, the lawyer  advised the duo to sign over their stakes in their two major companies, Mo’Hits and Koko Holdings, so that each person would hold on to one.
The lawyer states, “In Consideration and Mutuality of D’Banj signing over to you (Don Jazzy) his entire stake in Mo’Hits Records Limited, you in return sign over to him your stake in Koko Holdings Limited, with the Catalogue now undifferentiated as between ‘D’Banj’ and ‘non-D’Banj’ sub-catalogues, (which is) in keeping with your express wishes”.
In view of recent events which are indeed surprising, I think it is an optimal way forward. Before Mo’Hits imploded, the relationship between D’banj and Wande Coal, one of the artistes on the label, had been anything but cordial. The Mushin-bred singer was reportedly rude to D’banj at the height of the success of his debut album, leading to his being placed on suspension from releasing any song. The album was released in 2009 and up till December 2011, no new material came from him except for a collaboration with Ghana group, R2Bees, on the song, Kiss Your Hand. Thus, pitching his tent with Don Jazzy is perceived as getting back at D’banj. He even has a word for the Kokomaster; “God, please don’t let the success you have given me get to my head to the extent that I will forget my humble beginnings.”
For D’Prince, who had not tweeted since January, D’banj’s statement that he bought a LR3 Jeep for him valued at N11m to shore up his image as a Mo’Hits ensign, brought him back to the micro-blogging site. Waxing philosophical, the gangling singer-rapper tweets, “We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.” He continues, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new….Thou shalt not bear FALSE witness against thy neighbour – 9th Commandments.”
 Dr Sid, on the other hand, has not reacted to the leaked emails, but responding to a fan who asked on whose side he is, he replied, “If you had Don Jazzy, would you leave?” Those in the know claim that the University of Ibadan graduate has always murmured that he could be as big a star on the label but for D’banj’s overwhelming influence. Little wonder, they never really got along. The on stage camaraderie had always been a façade.

Former Mohits label co-owner, D’Banj has been signed on top United Kingdom record label, Mercury Records.
His name and picture has also been updated on Mercury Records’ official website to confirm the deal.
Mercury Records presently has Elton John, Gabriel Bruce MIA and others signed under it.
Mercury Records is also a subsidiary of Universal Music Group same as Island Def Jam where Kanye West, Jay Z, Mariah Carey and other top US artiste belong to.
D’Banj’s twitter profile has since been changed to reflect Mercury Records on it.
His new twitter profile now reads DB/Good Music/Mercury/IDJ. IDJ means Island Def Jam.

Why Ibori will spend 4 and half years in UK Prison against the 13 years Ruling

In his consideration of the fact that the UK prison calendar is different from the general calendar, and having also considered the fact that Ibori had pleaded guilty on the eve of the case which would have ordinarily taken more than six months before the final judgment, Chief Ibori according to the Judge will by the legal calendar spend only six and half years, which he also deducted the six and half years to just 4 and half years due to years he already spent in detention.
by deducting 645 days from the six and half years, it then means that he would spend about four and half years in prison in the UK.  A break down shows that Ibori was sentenced to one year each for money laundering offences and three years for the sale of V-mobile shares.
Judge Pitts highlighted these points amongst others while passing his judgment;
“I am going to pass a sentence for the crime you have committed. On any view, these are serious offenses that will inevitably attract lengthy sentences.
“I am not assessing your tenure as governor of Delta (Delta State). I accept that there is another side of you that is good as painted by John Fashanu.
“During those two terms (as governor) you turned yourself in very short order indeed into a multi-millionaire through corruption,”
“The figure may be in excess of 200 million pounds, it is difficult to tell. The confiscation proceedings may shed some further light on the enormity of the sums involved.”

Reason, the fan, a make-up artiste on the set was filming her while in action acting a romantic scene.

Insiders who witnessed the shameful drama on the set of a movie by Amaco Brothers entitled In The Mind, says that all was well until a make-up artiste on set, a female, obviously enthralled by the callipygian decided to record her favorite star on her blackberry phone as she was acting a romantic scene.


Sources say she was in the thick of acting when she noticed what was happening and jumped off set and charged at the make-up artiste. Slapped her across the face, grabbed her black berry phone and smashed it shouting: “This is how it all begins, this is how it all begins. Before you know it they will start writing lies about me in the press!”

So angry was Mrs. Okogie that it took the entire cast to calm her down and she only agreed to continue shooting on one condition that the said make-up artiste be dismissed from the set.

“I am really shocked,” the said make-up artiste moaned as she sobbed obviously in shock at Mercy’s attack. “I respect and love Mercy so much. She is my role model. I never believed she could get so angry and do such a terrible thing to me. Now I have lost my blackberry phone; I am so sad.”

Few years ago, super model, Naomi Campbell had a similar experience after she threw her Blackberry phone at a maid who eventually sued her for assault.

Reports say that singer, Akande Abolore Adigun, who is well known as 9ice, has called it quit with his manager, Dehinde Fajana.
According to what we gathered, 9ice relieved Dehinde of his managerial services for some undisclosed reasons.
But some reports said his sack might not be unconnected to a reunion between 9ice and his estranged wife, Toni Payne.

So you see these things has to do with the individual state...if they are convince something is not good they should just ban it..."

Ice Prince Wins African Acts Awards In Ghana

Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince was the winner of African Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Award that was held yesterday in Ghana.
The event, which took place at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana, was well attended by top Ghanaian celebs.
Ice Prince won the award in the category that had fellow rapper, Naeto C; two other Nigerians, D’Banj, Wizkid and Duncan Mighty; and Cabo Snoop, who is from Angola.
With him in Ghana for the award were other label mates, MI and Brymo.
