There is No Better Time To Unite Nigeria Than Now – Osinbajo


Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo has described the next elections as the decision time and moment to place Nigeria on the path of fortune by the electorate if we must move together to the next level. He said this yesterday at Sango while addressing supporters, market women, artisans, party faithfuls and various ethnic groups that trooped out massively to welcome the number two citizens.

Ado Odo-Ota, Ogun state, was the next place the Vice President visited after surviving Chopper scare in Kogi last weekend. The meeting with prominent Awori sons and daughters and supporters is imperative to further the engagement of reaching out to the people to ascertain their needs. 

Accompanied by Ogun state Party leaders and APC Governorship Candidate,  Prince Dapo Abiodun alongside his deputy Governor, Alhaja Noimot Salako- Oyedele on the tour to Ado Odo Ota local goverment and Ifo, he stressed the importance of voting for APC as the safest way of sustaining the legacy and good works of President Muhammadu Buhari aimed at providing leadership, security, employment opportunities and empowerment of young and old and stable economy for investors. 

Speaking further, Osinbajo said, the next election is Nigeria’s deciding moment, and the power to navigate through the hardship of 16years lies with you. We are counting on you to believe in us once more with your voting magic. This election should be about Character and integrity. You have enthrusted us with your vote and support for 4years and our scoresheet are in the public. We have demonstrated leadership. What PDP couldn’t   do for South west in their 16 wasteful years has been achieved despite its recurrent appearance in budget: Lagos – Ibadan expressway, the rail network from Lagos to Abeokuta, restoration of Yoruba pride and dignity amongst all. 

Buhari has led with patriotism and integrity, and this is the time to unite us all with your vote so as to continue on the path of recovery from Insecurity,  and other challenges that has sunk our system, he stressed. 

I have come today not only to Campaign but also to have first knowledge of what this community and local government needs, and i have seen that your roads are in deplorable condition, we will not abandone Ota, its the centre West Africa industrial. Your Incoming Governor and I assure you that we will come back here soon with these roads fixed on our scoresheet. There is no better time than now. At the Centre in Abuja, vote APC, and in OGUN state, Prince Dapo Abiodun is the best option, he concluded. 

Vice President paid homage to the palace of Olota of Ota, Oba AbdulKabir Adeyemi, he was received by the Kabiesi and other Olota Council of Obas, prominent Ota- Awori sons and baales and various religious, ethnic group residing in Awori land, and later proceeded on tour to Sango Ota, Sango and led a breathtaking road show from Sango to Ifo before departing after meeting various party faithfuls and supporters in Ifo at Methodist Grammar School,  Arigbawo, Ifo. 

Among dignitaries at the rally were Special adviser to the President on Political matter, Sen. Babafemi Ojudu, APC Leaders in Ogun State, Senatorial candidate of Ogun West, Tolu Odebiyi and others.
